Get verified on Mewayz to show that your account is authentic and belongs to a real person, brand, or organization. Verified accounts receive a verification badge and enhanced visibility.

Basic Requirements

To be eligible for verification, your account must meet the following basic requirements:

• Account Age: Your account must be at least 30 days old
• Profile Picture: You must have a profile picture that clearly shows your face (for individuals) or your brand logo (for organizations)
• Complete Profile: Your profile must include:
  • Full name (real name for individuals, official name for organizations)
  • Bio description that accurately represents you or your organization
  • Location information
  • Website or other official links (if applicable)
• Active Account: Your account must be active with regular posting activity and engagement
• Public Account: Your account must be public and accessible to all users

Additional Requirements

In addition to the basic requirements, verification applicants must provide:

• Identity Verification:
  • For individuals: Government-issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, or national ID)
  • For organizations: Official business registration documents or articles of incorporation
• Public Presence: Evidence of public presence, such as:
  • News articles or media coverage
  • Official website with substantial content
  • Wikipedia page (for notable individuals or organizations)
  • Other verified social media accounts
• Clean Record: No history of policy violations in the last 6 months
• Authenticity: The account must represent a real person, brand, or organization

How to Apply

1. Complete Your Profile: Ensure all required information is filled out and accurate
2. Build Your Presence: Post regularly and engage with the community to establish your account
3. Gather Documentation: Prepare your identification documents and proof of public presence
4. Submit Application:
   • Go to Settings → Verification
   • Click "Apply for Verification"
   • Fill out the application form
   • Upload required documents
   • Submit your application
5. Wait for Review: Our team will review your application, which typically takes 7-14 business days

What Happens After Application

• You will receive an email confirmation when your application is received
• Our verification team will review your application and documents

If your verification application is denied, you will receive an email explaining the reason. Common reasons for denial include:

• Incomplete or unclear documentation
• Account does not meet minimum activity requirements

You can reapply after 30 days if your application is denied. Use this time to address any issues mentioned in the denial notice.

To maintain your verified status:

• Continue to comply with our Terms of Use and Community Guidelines
• Keep your profile information accurate and up-to-date
• Maintain active engagement on the platform
• Respond promptly if we contact you about your account
